  • Beginning Judo
    • Beginning students will learn Judo techniques including falling, throwing, pinning, choking, and arm-barring. Judo, meaning the “Gentle Way,” is an Olympic sport and modern martial art. Judo was developed in Japan and derived from jujutsu. The founder of Judo, Dr. Jigoro Kano, used Judo as a physical education tool and to instill the main principles of maximum efficiency and mutual benefit and welfare.
  • Intermediate Judo
    • Intermediate Judo builds on the techniques and concepts of beginning Judo. Students will learn more advanced throwing, pinning, choking and arm-barring techniques. Intermediate students will learn more about competition Judo and accumulate enough experience and knowledge for a yellow belt.
